Situated in Biot, which is famous for it’s glass production, the restaurant currently holds a Michelin star and it is very well merited.
In the summer you are usually seated outside on the terrace which is fully enclosed at the front of the restaurant and covered with vines and examples of the local glassware.
The food is simply amazing. You can choose from a number of set menus or choose individual dishes, though the latter works out much more expensive. On our last visit we had the Discovery menu which is a starter, fish course, meat course and dessert. In between of course you are given all sorts of extras such as amuse bouche and sorbets.
The wine list is huge and almost completely French i.e. I counted five wines from outside France. You can spend anything from €50 to €15000 depending on your budget! And yes that is per bottle.
Closed on Wednesday and Thursday year round. Limited car parking at the front and pretty much certain you will need to book your table in advance.
I’d give it ten stars if I could.
